Playtag Selected as Top 5 Promising Company by Seoul National University Technology Holdings

December 27, 2023  — PLAYTAG, a vision AI-based 3D analysis company, is thrilled to announce that it has been selected as one of the top 5 promising startups by Seoul National University (SNU) Technology Holdings during “The GS Challenge with SNU" Demo Day, held in collaboration with GS.

This year, SNU Technology Holdings and GS identified five promising startups with high potential and provided direct acceleration support. The selected five startups are: PLAYTAG - Vision AI-based 3D behavior analysis service, Langcode - Conversational AI-based software as a service (SaaS), Carbon Neutral Research Institute - Carbon accounting (SaaS), Liflex Science - Fundamental treatment for degenerative arthritis, Kiwi Studio - AI-based art storage and psychological analysis subscription platform Little Picasso, Oyster able - Smart recycling infrastructure addressing plastic and waste issues. 

“The GS Challenge with SNU” marks the first open innovation initiative by Seoul National University Technology Holdings, designed to leverage the synergies between SNU’s investment philosophy, particularly its focus on ‘survival,’ and GS’s industry expertise. 

“I hope that this program will be the starting point for venture investment exchanges between Seoul National University Technology Holdings and GS, and we look forward to seeing both large enterprises and academic institutions collaborate for the growth of startups,” says Mok Seung-hwan, CEO of SNU Technology Holdings.
